I grew up in New Jersey and proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard before building a career in the heavy equipment industry. My love of photography began back in high school in 1972, when I first experimented with Kodak and Fuji black-and-white film and learned the magic of the darkroom. In the 50 years since, technology has transformed photography in ways that once felt like pure science fiction—but what hasn’t changed is the person behind the camera. For me, that means chasing the quiet power of landscapes, the rhythm of the sea, the grit of street life, and the stories hidden in abandoned industrial remains.
